I’ve been MIA for a little over a week, because my life has been a little crazy. Â I’ve been traveling, moving, and going through life. Â Last week I traveled to San Francisco, and I had a blast. Â It’s been my sister’s dream to visit San Francisco, and Silicon Valley, so we decided to go for her 30th Birthday. Â I left for San Francisco Friday night and met up with my sister and cousin. Â We went to a Chicken and Waffle restaurant (the Mac n Cheese was amazing), and chilled for the night. Â That Saturday is when all of the fun began. Â We started off our day at In-N-Out (because food is life). Â We try to get In-N-Out whenever there’s a location near us. Â After having lunch, we took a double-decker tour bus around the city. Â The first stop on our list was the Golden Gate Bridge. We spent half the day walking the bridge and taking pictures (selfie season lol). Â The bridge was so gorgeous, and it was nice to finally see it in person.
After walking the bridge and taking numerous selfies; we decided to stop by the Painted Ladies. Â Looking at the Painted Ladies made me feel a little nostalgic. Â I felt like I was a kid again, watching an episode of ‘Full House.’ Â It was on my list of places to see in San Francisco, so I’m happy that we got a chance to take a few pictures.
The next day, we attended church with my cousin and had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant. After dinner, my sister and I decided to take a ride down Lombard Street (the crooked street), and Fisherman’s Wharf. Lombard Street was so cool, because it was crooked and really hard to drive down. Â We stopped and took lots of pictures near the water at Fisherman’s Wharf, and I must say that modeling isn’t easy (no I’m not a model lol). Â It was freezing cold in San Francisco, and I decided to wear a light shirt for my blogging pictures (anything for a great blog post). Â We struggled with the pictures, but we had a lot of fun looking back at how they turned out.
The last day of our trip was the highlight. Â We finally got to see Silicon Valley. My sister was on a mission to see Google, so that was our first stop. Â It was so cool. Â The Google Headquarters looked more like a college campus. Â We saw employee’s riding around in Google bikes. Â We made a pit stop at the Android building, and it was nice to see the Android models outside (even though I’m an Apple girl). Â After visiting Google, we had the opportunity to take a tour of the Facebook and Instagram Headquarters. Â The tour was amazing, and it was so awesome to see the campus and the daily workflow. Â I can definitely say that Mark Zuckerberg takes really good care of his employees.
I left my heart in San Francisco, because I loved it so much and cannot wait to visit again.
