I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO

I’ve been MIA for a little over a week, because my life has been a little crazy.  I’ve been traveling, moving, and going through life.  Last week I traveled to San Francisco, and I had a blast.  It’s been my sister’s dream to visit San Francisco, and Silicon Valley, so we decided to go for her 30th Birthday.   I left for San Francisco Friday night and met up with my sister and cousin.  We went to a Chicken and Waffle restaurant (the Mac n Cheese was amazing), and chilled for the night.  That Saturday is when all of the fun began.  We started off our day at In-N-Out (because food is life).  We try to get In-N-Out whenever there’s a location near us.  After having lunch, we took a double-decker tour bus around the city.  The first stop on our list was the Golden Gate Bridge. We spent half the day walking the bridge and taking pictures (selfie season lol).  The bridge was so gorgeous, and it was nice to finally see it in person.

After walking the bridge and taking numerous selfies; we decided to stop by the Painted Ladies.  Looking at the Painted Ladies made me feel a little nostalgic.  I felt like I was a kid again, watching an episode of ‘Full House.’  It was on my list of places to see in San Francisco, so I’m happy that we got a chance to take a few pictures.

The next day, we attended church with my cousin and had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant. After dinner, my sister and I decided to take a ride down Lombard Street (the crooked street), and Fisherman’s Wharf. Lombard Street was so cool, because it was crooked and really hard to drive down.  We stopped and took lots of pictures near the water at Fisherman’s Wharf, and I must say that modeling isn’t easy (no I’m not a model lol).  It was freezing cold in San Francisco, and I decided to wear a light shirt for my blogging pictures (anything for a great blog post).  We struggled with the pictures, but we had a lot of fun looking back at how they turned out.

The last day of our trip was the highlight.  We finally got to see Silicon Valley. My sister was on a mission to see Google, so that was our first stop.  It was so cool.  The Google Headquarters looked more like a college campus.  We saw employee’s riding around in Google bikes.  We made a pit stop at the Android building, and it was nice to see the Android models outside (even though I’m an Apple girl).  After visiting Google, we had the opportunity to take a tour of the Facebook and Instagram Headquarters.  The tour was amazing, and it was so awesome to see the campus and the daily workflow.  I can definitely say that Mark Zuckerberg takes really good care of his employees.

I left my heart in San Francisco, because I loved it so much and cannot wait to visit again.
