BLACK OWNED BRANDS: SKINCARE

Hey loves.  It’s that time again. It’s time to share more black owned brands.  This week I’m sharing skincare brands that I’ve been loving and products that I’ve been trying out.  I’m a skincare junkie, so I was super excited to try some of these brands out.  Today’s black owned business features are coming from BeautyStat, ButtahSkin, Rosen Skincare, and Nolaskinsentials.  I hope you’ll check them out and continue supporting other black owned brands.

BeautyStat: Founded by Chemist Ron Robinson.  This brand is known for their popular vitamin c products like their serum and eye cream. The products are one of few on the market that contain l-ascorbic acid, which is Vitamin C in its purest form.  I’ve been wearing the eye cream and serum for two weeks now and it is the jam.  I only wear them in my morning routine, but I make sure to apply sunscreen as well.

Rosen Skincare: This brand has the cutest aesthetic and products that work.  I’ve been using their tropic toner and moisturizer and they are a great combo.  Their products are fragrance-free and help with hyperpigmentation.

ButtahSkin: This is a newer brand that I recently discovered.  They sell products that contain natural shea butter.  Currently, I’m loving their detox mask.  It’s great for clearing your pores and isn’t too harsh on the skin.

Nolaskinsentials: I was introduced to this brand by another blogger.  She shared some of her favorite Vitamin C serums and I just had to check them out.  They are a vegan brand, which is always a plus and I really love their packaging. I also love their vitamin serum and pumpkin mask. The serum is great if you want an extra glow and to brighten dark spots.  The mask is great for extra hydration.  I’ve been using both products for a month now, and I’m loving the results.  This brand is really affordable and I plan on purchasing more from them.
